Online bookings can be made up to two days before departure.
For bookings less than two days before your preferred trekking date, please contact us directly by email or WhatsApp. We will do our best to accommodate your request, although guide availability cannot be guaranteed at short notice.
National Park Entrance Permit.
Gunung Leuser National Park requires visitors to purchase an official entrance permit.
The permit fee is collected by the national park authorities and does not go to the guide or trekking company.
The national park entrance permit is included in the prices of our treks.
There are no unexpected permit charges when you begin your trek.

Five-Day Mount and Wildlife Expedition

Journey into a remote area of the rainforest rarely visited by ordinary travellers.
This five-day expedition leads towards Mount, which reaches approximately 908 metres above sea level.
The area is known for a natural mineral deposit and watering hole visited by different wildlife species. Animals in the wider ecosystem may include wild elephants, Sumatran tigers, deer, wild pigs, monkeys, and many other rainforest species.
Wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed, particularly for rare animals such as tigers and elephants. However, the journey offers a remarkable opportunity to explore a remote and important wildlife habitat.
The route passes through key orangutan areas before continuing southwest towards Mount Uning. On the return journey, you will travel northeast towards the Bohorok River and complete the adventure by river tubing back towards the village.
