Is this tour possible as a genuine day trip from Medan?
Yes, but it is a long and active day. The exact pick-up time depends on
your Medan location, traffic and the planned trekking schedule.
Is seeing an orangutan guaranteed?
No wildlife sighting can be guaranteed because the animals move freely
in their natural habitat. Your guide will use local knowledge to give
you the best responsible opportunity to observe rainforest wildlife.
How difficult is the jungle trek?
The trek includes hills, roots, uneven ground and potentially slippery
trails. Tell us about your fitness, age, children or medical considerations
before booking so the experience can be planned appropriately.
Can children join the tour?
Families are welcome, but suitability depends on the child’s age,
walking ability and current trail conditions. Please provide the ages
of all children when requesting availability.
What happens if it rains?
Rain is a normal part of the rainforest environment. The tour usually
continues when conditions are safe. The route or tube-rafting return
may be adjusted by the guide for safety.
Can I be dropped at Medan Airport after the tour?
Airport drop-off may be possible by prior arrangement, but traffic and
the tour finish time can vary. A same-evening flight is not recommended.
