Kuala Namu Airport → Binjai → Bukit Lawang

Useful when travelling directly from the airport.

    Outside the airport, find an ALS bus travelling to Binjai.

    In Binjai, continue by becak, tuk-tuk or local transport toward Tanah Lapang Binjai.

    Take an L300 or PS minibus heading toward Bukit Lawang.

    Leave at Gotong Royong / Bukit Lawang bus terminal, then continue to your accommodation.

Route B

Medan city → Pinang Baris → Bukit Lawang

Useful after staying overnight in Medan.

    Take a taxi, Grab or local transport toward Pinang Baris.

    Ask to stop near Mawar Bakery on Jalan Pinang Baris, a common pick-up point.

    Find the PS / local minibus to Bukit Lawang and agree the fare before boarding.

    Leave at Gotong Royong and continue by becak or arranged pick-up.

Kuala Namu International Airport (KNO), near Medan, is the main arrival airport for most visitors travelling to Bukit Lawang.

How long does the journey from the airport take?
