Clothing and footwear
Wear comfortable, lightweight, and quick-drying clothing. Long sleeves and trousers are optional, but nights can feel cool. Trekking shoes with reliable grip are essential because the paths may be muddy, wet, steep, and slippery. Camp sandals are not suitable for trekking.
Fitness and trail conditions
This trek requires an average level of fitness and the ability to hike for approximately five to seven hours on several days. Expect hills, roots, mud, high humidity, river areas, and uneven ground. Please tell us before booking about injuries, health conditions, or mobility concerns.
Responsible wildlife rules

- Maintain the distance requested by your guide
- Do not call, chase, or attract animals
- Keep food securely packed and take all rubbish out
- Follow guide instructions at all times
- Tell us before the trek if you feel unwell
Weather and itinerary changes
Rain is a normal part of rainforest travel. Routes, campsites, the summit, waterfall visits, swimming, rafting duration, and finishing time may change because of weather, river levels, trail conditions, wildlife activity, or safety considerations.
Wildlife sightings
All animals live freely in their natural habitat, so sightings cannot be guaranteed. A four-day trek provides more time for observation, but wildlife welfare, quiet behaviour, and responsible distance always come first.
