A Rainforest Experience With a Lasting Impact

Experience the rainforest in a more meaningful way.

This full-day eco-adventure combines a hands-on tree-planting experience with an unforgettable orangutan trek through the tropical rainforest of Gunung Leuser National Park.

Plant your own native tree, learn about rainforest restoration, explore one of Sumatra’s most important wildlife habitats, and discover how responsible tourism can help protect the forest for future generations.

Every tree planted is a small action with a lasting impact.

Rainforest Restoration

From a Small Seedling to a Living Rainforest

Every restored forest begins with careful preparation, local knowledge, and a commitment to the future.

Before native trees are planted in the reforestation area, local team members prepare and care for young seedlings until they are strong enough to grow in the rainforest environment.

During your experience, you will learn how native trees are selected, why different species are important, and how reforestation helps create healthier habitat for orangutans and other wildlife.

01
Native Tree Species

Trees are selected because they naturally belong in the local rainforest ecosystem.

02
Habitat Restoration

Reforestation helps reconnect and strengthen important wildlife habitat.

03
Long-Term Impact

A tree planted today can support rainforest life for many years to come.
