7 Days Adventure Tour: Bukit Lawang, Tangkahan, and Lake Toba

Day One: Arrival and Village Exploration

• Pick-up: Medan Kualanamu Airport or your hotel.
• Transport: Private air-conditioned vehicle to Bukit Lawang (3-4 hours).
• Activities: Explore the village, visit the bat cave, relax at bungalow.

Day Two: Elephant Adventure in Tangkahan

Transport: Aircon jeep to Tangkahan (2 hours).

Activities: 

• Register at the park office.
• Wash and feed the elephants.
• Lunch at a traditional restaurant.
• Swim in a natural hot spring and visit nearby caves (time/weather permitting).
• Return to Bukit Lawang.

Day Three: Jungle Trekking in Gunung Leuser National Park

Activities: 

• Trekking (6-7 hours) to see wild orangutans and other wildlife.
• Learn about local flora, fauna, and traditional medicinal plants.
• Set up camp by the Bohorok river, swim, help prepare dinner, enjoy a bonfire and jungle games.

Day Four: Return from Jungle Trek

Activities: 

• Morning wildlife spotting and waterfall visit.
• Traditional rafting back to the village.
• Free time in Bukit Lawang.

Day Five: Journey to Lake Toba

Transport: 7-hour drive from Bukit Lawang to Lake Toba.

Activities: 

• Visit traditional market and Sipisopiso waterfall.
• Arrive in Lake Toba, check-in at the hotel.
• Explore the village or relax.

Day Six: Samosir Island Tour

Activities: 

• Tour of Samosir Island: traditional Batak House, Batak culture, Batak architecture, and local coffee growing techniques.
• Visit cultural sites: Simanindo (Huta Bolon), Ambarita (megalithic stone), and Tomok (Sidabutar dynasty graves).
• Return to the hotel.

Day Seven: Return to Medan

Transport: Return journey from Samosir Island to Medan.

Activities: 

• Visit cultural highlights in Medan: Maimun Palace, Great Mosque, Tjong A Fie’s mansion, or other sites.
• Drop-off at Medan airport or hotel.
