This 4-day tour is designed for nature enthusiasts who want to explore the lush jungles of Sumatra, Indonesia. The primary focus is trekking through the rainforest to see wild orangutans and other exotic wildlife, combined with a stay at the Bukit Lawang Hotel.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Medan and Transfer to Bukit Lawang
- Arrival in Medan: You will be greeted at Medan’s Kuala Namu International Airport by your guide.
- Transfer to Bukit Lawang: A scenic 3-4 hour drive to Bukit Lawang, a village on the edge of Gunung Leuser National Park.
- Check-In: Accommodation at Bukit Lawang Hotel.
- Evening: Free time to relax and explore the village. Optionally, visit the nearby Bat Cave or enjoy the views of the Bohorok River.
Day 2: Jungle Trekking and Orangutan Encounter
- Breakfast: Early morning start with a hearty breakfast at the hotel.
- Jungle Trek: Full-day trek in Gunung Leuser National Park. Expect to hike for 6-8 hours through dense jungle, spotting orangutans, Thomas leaf monkeys, macaques, gibbons, and various bird species.
- Lunch: Picnic in the jungle.
- Return to Hotel: In the late afternoon, trek back to Bukit Lawang.
- Dinner: Enjoy a traditional Indonesian meal at the hotel or a local restaurant.
Day 3: River Tubing and Leisure Time
- Breakfast: Morning meal at the hotel.
- River Tubing: Experience the thrill of tubing down the Bohorok River, guided by experienced locals.
- Leisure Time: Afternoon free to relax or explore more of Bukit Lawang on your own. Optional activities include visiting local markets, additional short treks, or engaging with local community projects.
- Dinner: At the hotel or a local eatery.
Day 4: Departure
- Breakfast: Final breakfast at the hotel.
- Return to Medan: Transfer back to Medan for your flight home or onward travel.
